Positive Material Identification (PMI)
Using Positive Material Identification (PMI), we verify directly on the component whether the alloy composition matches the order specification. The measurement is performed non-destructively using X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) or optical emission spectrometry (OES). PMI supplements the inspection certificate 3.1 (EN 10204) with verification on the installed part.

The quality assurance software compares this data with the CAD model. Warping and dents become visible in the process. Even a deviation in nozzle offset can be detected and documented in the measurement report. The method is suitable for individual parts and fully assembled vessels.
