quality assurance (QA)

Quality assurance (QA) accompanies every order from the receipt of goods through final acceptance. Tests, measurement results, and material certificates are recorded according to the agreed-upon test plan. This ensures that production steps and the materials used remain traceable.

Test Procedure

Inspection and Documentation in the Manufacturing Process

Our quality management system complies with the standards and customer specifications applicable to the order. Material testing, production monitoring, and final acceptance are documented. Unambiguous batch assignments link the installed parts to the corresponding certificates and test reports.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions About Quality Assurance (QA)

Here, we answer questions regarding testing procedures, documentation, and traceability. We clarify project-specific requirements based on your specifications and the applicable regulations.

How do you ensure precision in manufacturing? +

Interim inspections and final measurements are performed using calibrated measuring equipment. For complex geometries, we use mobile 3D laser scanners. The comparison of actual measurements against the CAD model reveals deviations as early as during the manufacturing process. The measurement results are assigned to the order and incorporated into the project documentation.

Do you offer project-specific quality assurance services? +

Yes. The scope of testing and documentation are tailored to the technical and contractual requirements of the project. This may include customer-specific test plans (ITP). We also coordinate additional final acceptances by commissioned inspectors and specified documentation formats on a project-by-project basis. Our quality assurance team oversees the testing planning and assigns the supporting documentation to the respective order.

What are the qualifications of your inspection staff? +

Three NDT inspectors are qualified according to DIN EN ISO 9712; one at Level 3 and two at Level 2. The qualifications cover visual testing (VT), penetrant testing, and magnetic particle testing (MT). In addition, radiographic testing and ultrasonic testing (UT)—including TOFD and phased array—are performed. Welding supervision is handled by a certified welding engineer (IWE/EWE).

How does traceability work? +

Each component is assigned to an order and the corresponding material certificate. The identification is maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Test reports and certificates remain available in the project documentation, including for future audits or maintenance work.
