Company history
January 1952
Robert Josef Wolf founded the company Robert Josef Wolf GmbH & Co. KG in Netphen, then in the Siegen district (now the Siegen-Wittgenstein district), in a small production hall.
1976
Production facility and administration will be moved to the industrial area
“Lehnscheid I” was relocated to Wilnsdorf, the current main location.
1986
Klaus-Dieter Wolf takes over the management in the 2nd generation.
1989
The company Robert Josef Wolf GmbH & Co. KG takes over the company Siegthalerfabrik GmbH in Siegen. This marks the start of the production of rings and flanges.
2004
In 2004, the company acquired a stake in Landruf Rohrtechnik GmbH in Freudenberg. In 2007, the majority shareholding was acquired. In 2013, the company moved to a new location in Siegen-Weidenau.
2005
Dietmar Wolf is also appointed Managing Director.
2006
In 2006, a new production facility was taken over in Herdorf in the neighboring district of Altenkirchen, today's Plant 3 for container and apparatus construction.
2008
In 2008, production began in the newly built ring forge in the Wilnsdorf industrial area "Lehnscheid VI" or "Elkersberg". This gave the company the opportunity to manufacture large rings, including mechanical processing, in what is now Plant 2.
2024
The completion of a new hall for membrane housings at Plant 3 in Herdorf is planned for 2024.
